01. The order

How do I place an order at Buy Book Mart?

Browse our catalog, select the books you wish to buy, and add them to your cart. Once you are ready, proceed to checkout, enter your shipping details, and complete your payment. You will receive an order confirmation by email right after your purchase.

Will I get an order confirmation?

Yes, every purchase is followed by an instant order confirmation email, which includes your order number, items purchased, and estimated delivery date.

Can I change or cancel my order after placing it?

If your order has not shipped yet, you may request changes or cancellations by contacting our customer service promptly. Once shipped, orders cannot be changed or canceled.

What happens if an item in my order is out of stock or delayed?

If any part of your order is delayed or unavailable, we will notify you by email. You may choose to wait or cancel the affected item(s) for a full refund.

How long does shipping take?

Delivery timeframes are shown at checkout and in your confirmation email. Typical delivery is within 5–10 business days for most locations. International shipments may take longer depending on customs and local carriers.

How can I track my shipment?

Once your order has shipped, you will receive a tracking number by email. You can also log in to your Buy Book Mart account and view shipment status under “My Orders.”

Do I need an account to place an order?

You can check out as a guest, but we recommend creating an account to easily manage orders, track shipments, and download invoices.

How do I reset my password?

Click “Forgot Password” on the login screen and follow the instructions sent to your registered email.

Where can I view or download my invoices?

Log in to your account, navigate to “My Orders,” select the order, and click to download your digital invoice. For help, please contact our support team.

How do I update my shipping address or account details?

Go to “Profile Settings” in your account to modify address, contact info, and preferences. Note: address changes can’t be made for orders that have already shipped.

04. Returns, Exchanges & Complaints

How do I return or exchange a book?

If you wish to return or exchange an item, contact customer support within 14 days of receiving your order. We will provide instructions and process your request smoothly.

What if my order arrives damaged or incorrect?

Please notify us within 7 days of delivery with photos (if possible). We will arrange for a replacement or refund as appropriate.

How are refunds processed?

For approved returns, refunds are processed back to your original payment method within 2–5 business days after the return is received and inspected.
